THE BRIEF:


In 2024, the Casinos-en-ligne.fr team, who specialise in online casino gaming came to us to bolster their backlink profile by building authoritative links from prominent French language publications. 

The French market is especially hard to crack, combined with the challenging nature of iGaming Digital PR, it is not an easy task to create a top-tier and diverse backlink profile.

OUR STRATEGY:


Our strategy involved 3 key steps. 

  • Firstly, our in-house French Digital PR Specialists highlighted that data-led lifestyle focused campaigns were the key to unlocking media success in the French market. 
  • This then informed our ideation session, where the team collectively came up with ideas that would utilizie official data sources, such as the divorce rates in France from the National Statistics Bureau. We then wanted this to have a strong relevancy hook to the brand, where we came up with the idea of "the luckiest French regions for falling in love. 
  • Finally, we created hyper-tailored media lists. This involved looking into exactly what type of content journalists were publishing, as well as where they were based and also, most-importantly, building on already very strong relationships with the French journalists - allowing some to have "first dibs" on the campaigns before they were live. 

All of these steps together meant we were able to deliver 36 highly authoritative pieces of coverage for the client.
