To improve their SEO rankings, Indusface had to fix technical and on-site SEO issues and develop a strong and relevant backlink profile so that they could compete with the key competitors within the industry.

We delivered an in-depth SEO audit and ran outreach and digital PR campaigns targeting niche technology and cyber security publications to get the brand in front of their target audience whilst growing their SEO visibility.

THE BRIEF:


  • Indusface wished to improve SEO rankings, effectively optimising the website to better target keywords that will drive enquiries.
  • To drive organic traffic to the Indusface website via data-driven PR and an “always on” approach to reactive PR. 
  • Acquire high authority backlinks at scale in order to outperform competitors within the field.

OUR STRATEGY:


We kicked off the Indusface campaign with a bespoke SEO audit spanning technical, on-site, and off-site SEO.

We spent several days analysing the website and its key competitors, keeping our findings in a digestible Google Slides document which would ultimately be presented to the client.

Our audit identified a number of key issues and opportunities like:

  • Historic Google/SEO update impact and what could be learned from the changes seen as they rolled out
  • Large-scale canonical improvement opportunities
  • Ways in which the site could be better optimised for the highest value and priority target keywords
  • Additional landing page and keyword targeting opportunities
  • Other off-site opportunities that the Indusface team could work on to complement our Digital PR activity

Next, we needed to earn high authority links to the site in order to drive greater SEO performance.

We decided to use Digital PR in our topical link building strategy, which allowed us to gain placements on relevant niche technological and cyber security websites. 

Within the technology space, we explored relevant campaign topics in order to build brand links and coverage to appeal to key audiences. 

Additionally, we took a blended approach to campaigns, continually monitoring the media landscape and using this to inform our campaign ideas.

RESULTS:

Backlinks in total

Our ongoing campaigns have resulted in 113 backlinks in total with an average ahrefs Domain Rating of 53. Since starting work with our SEO agency, Indusface has entered the top 100 search results for ~1,500 new organic keywords.

Within this time, year-on-year (YoY) organic clicks have increased by ~36% and YoY organic impressions are up 31%.

Reboot has been a breath of fresh air as far as link building is concerned. Their digital PR is world class and just in 3.5 months of engagement we got 50+ mentions that includes mentions in 70+ DA sites. The initial SEO audit was quite exhaustive and helped us fix a lot of issues on the site. The audit covered everything from on-page issues to competitor backlinks to content recommendations. The only minor con I see is that majority of the links are from Europe and ROW. I'm hoping that we get links from North America too in similar numbers. That said, my experience is only for about 3.5 months
