OVERVIEW:


Using a strategic mix of data campaigns, survey-led stories, and fast reactive commentary on trending topics, we have gained over 400 links for our iGaming brand, Rant Casino.

To do this, we created enticing, viral stories around entertainment, gaming and strange news to gauge journalists' interest and broaden outreach opportunities nationally and globally. Campaigns included ‘Data reveals the best nude beaches in the UK’ and ‘The industries most likely to have affairs’.

THE BRIEF:


In 2020, the Rant Casino team tasked us with gaining links from high authority publications in order to increase their Domain Rating and improve their Organic Traffic.

As with the best campaigns from any digital PR agency, our work with Rant Casino was centered around one core aim—to gain high-authority, industry-relevant coverage as possible.

Campaigns for clients that operate in a niche industry are one of our specialties, so we were well placed to secure high domain national coverage for a client within the iGaming industry.

We targeted UK audiences as well as international publications, across a range of relevant industries, to increase the reach of our campaign and raise brand awareness.

OUR STRATEGY:


In order to maximise our chance of success, we pitched a multi-campaign strategy that would incorporate both data-heavy and smaller, trending campaigns to ensure media hooks for all outreach targets and markets.

Given the natural barrier of gaining links to gambling domains, we widened the scope of relevance to the client, taking into account topics such as gaming, entertainment, luck, celebrity gossip or “weird” news within our ideation sessions - all that could be used within national publications.

Combining these themes with in-depth data was key to giving journalists a reason to link back to the client, by presenting them with a fully rounded and well researched story for their readership.

This dedication resulted in 114 pieces of coverage, reaching both national and regional outlets, significantly increasing PureMundo's presence across France. Thanks to this, the brand saw a 65% increase in organic traffic within four months, cementing its position as a key player in the competitive iGaming sector.
