The Covid-19 pandemic forced many of us to look inwards, and assess our links with our local communities.
Coupled with a cost of living crisis, this has meant some people have been disproportionately affected. Unfortunately, those in society who are often in need can be overlooked. Society and governments cannot help everyone, which is where we believe our social responsibility as a business comes in.
Giving to charity and working with the local communities is a powerful way to have a positive impact on people’s lives, and invest in their futures.
When we give to others, this often creates a ripple effect and encourages others to do the same, thus spreading generosity throughout the community.
Simply put, this is just good business practice, and the right thing to do. Our actions, or lack thereof, can have detrimental impacts on future generations. So by doing what we do, we are helping to provide a better future for society and the natural environment in which we live
